HEATMAX HEATERS
WHAT IS RADIANT HEAT?Radiant Heat is a method of heating whereby rays of energy are transmitted through empty space, without heating that space. The rays have no temperature but when they strike solid objects, such as people, those objects absorb that energy and become warm. Radiant energy exists across a number of wavelengths; some produce visible light creating a red glow, while others are non-visible and do not create a glow. The sun is an example of a radiant energy producer, of both visible and non-visible radiant energy. People and objects become warm when moving from the shade into direct sunlight. The ambient temperature remains the same, however you feel warmer because you are absorbing the sun’s radiant energy. Heatmax heaters, available exclusively from Heatmax NZ, are based on the same principle of the sun but without the harmful ultra-violet waves. Heatmax Infra-Red Gas Radiant Heaters (IRH) produce a visible glow, whereas the Heatmax Electric Radiant Heating System (ERH) are non-glowing; both create a warm healthy environment. |
