With crisp, modern styling, an anodized aluminum housing and narrow profiles, Slimline heaters virtually disappear into the surrounding décor, and are capable of withstanding years of outdoor use.

Slimline heaters are ideal for surface mount applications up to ten feet, and feature a T-slot for flexible mounting options using the included brackets. Available in 1624, 2424, 3024 and 4024-watt models.

Overhead Gas Heating

Heatmax overhead radiant gas heaters are wall mounted to make use of piped natural gas. They save valuable floor space while providing comfortable radiant heat which is directed with reflectors to where it is needed. Radiant heat heats objects and not the outdoor air which blows away.

Heatmax overhead radiant heaters are manufactured from heavy duty stainless steel and have built-in heat shields. They are intended to be mounted 2.5 to 3 metres from the ground.

Unlike many gas heaters, they are economical to operate, using a fraction of the gas, and produce no harmful emissions.

They are an excellent and responsible choice for heating decks, patios, verandahs and indoor non-residential spaces.

Electric Radiant Heating

  • panel1Most cost effective outdoor electrical heating on the market
  • Increased outdoor dining facilities at a minimum cost
  • Stylish minimal aesthetically pleasing design
  • Gentle comfortable pleasant heat

Electric radiant HEATSTRIP heaters from Heatmax NZ are an innovation of heating comfort. Like sitting in spring or autumn sunshine, Heatstrip heating panels produce comfortable, soft evenly distributed radiant warmth. Heatstrip panels rapidly warm solid objects not empty air and are therefore the most cost effective electrical heaters available. Depending on the model used and the price being paid for electricity, the operating cost of these heaters is around .50c an hour.

The slim, simplistically designed electric panels provide comfort heating for undercover or partly covered alfresco dining spaces and BBQ areas, patios, courtyards, verandas and balconies. They are wall or ceiling mounted and do not emit light or glow when in use, blending elegantly into the décor. They are widely used in restaurants and cafes and by discerning home owners.

Within your work place or business, HEATSTRIP panels can provide comfort heating for designated outdoor smoking and leisure areas, as well as for workstation spot heating in factories, workshops warehouses and showrooms.

They can be ceiling or wall mounted with inclusive brackets or with suspension chains. They can be recessed into a ceiling cavity and are a perfect addition to the Heatmax Architectural Umbrella System.

The standard outer casing for HEATSTRIP panels is matte silver powdercoated steel which is suitable for most urban areas. Polished stainless steel encased models are also available. These are suitable for use in waterfront or coastal areas, as well as outdoor kitchen and saltwater pool areas.

panel2HEATSTRIP panels incorporate no internal moving parts, ensuring silent and maintenance free operation. They are IPX5 rated, which ensures protection against water penetration.

A choice of four model sizes ensures the heating requirements of any outdoor area is covered. HEATSTRIP radiant electric heating panels have a 2 year guarantee.

  • portable-gas-heater-17High Performance
  • Cutting Edge Design
  • High Grade Stainless Steel
  • 18kg Bottle Option
  • Four times more cost effective than conventional patio heaters
  • The responsible eco-friendly heating choice

Operating on LPG or mains gas and constructed of heavy duty stainless steel, the Heatmax gas patio heater is a state of the art product, superior in design and efficiency to any other portable heater currently on the market.

It is easy to light and has a highly efficient infra-red gas burner which heats objects and not empty spaces. It is uneconomical when outdoors to attempt to heat large volumes of air as conventional patio heaters do. The air simply blows away.

It is cleanburning and can be used indoors and under cover because the gas burns on a ceramic plate, with surplus gas burning a second time, so there are no harmful emissions.

portable-gas-heater-16With 40 hours of burn time from a 9kg gas bottle, it is therefore four times more efficient and it will operate on ¼ the amount of gas that is used by a conventional patio heater. It is highly affordable as the savings in gas quickly pays for the heater. It is the only eco-friendly responsible gas heating choice, greatly contributing to a reduction in the carbon footprint.

It will operate on an 18kg bottle if required, which doubles the burn time and makes for longer use between fills. It has sturdy rubber wheels to make it truly portable and, if required can be conveniently positioned out of the way on the periphery of the area to be heated.

Operating Cost Comparison

CONVENTIONAL HEATER:

  • Operates for 40 hours on 4 x 9kg gas bottles @ $30.00 + gst per fill = $120.00 + gst

HEATMAX PORTABLE RADIANT HEATER

  • Operates for 40 hours on 1 x 9kg bottle @ $30.00 + gst
  • Operates for 80 hours on 1 x 18kg bottle at $56.00 + gst

Further Information

Heatmax Heaters

Heatmax Heaters operate on Radiant Heat, which is the:

  • Most cost effective heat available and has the most consistent heat output
  • Radiant Heat warms solid objects, without heating empty spaces

What Is Radiant Heat?

portable-gas-heater-7-l

Radiant Heat is a method of heating whereby rays of energy are transmitted through empty space, without heating that space. The rays have no temperature but when they strike solid objects, such as people, those objects absorb that energy and become warm.

Radiant energy exists across a number of wavelengths; some produce visible light creating a red glow, while others are non-visible and do not create a glow. The sun is an example of a radiant energy producer, of both visible and non-visible radiant energy. People and objects become warm when moving from the shade into direct sunlight. The ambient temperature remains the same, however you feel warmer because you are absorbing the sun's radiant energy.

Heatmax heaters are based on the same principle of the sun but without the harmful ultra-violet waves. Infra-Red Gas Radiant Heaters (IRH) produce a visible glow, whereas the Electric Radiant Heating System (ERH) are non-glowing; both create a warm healthy environment.
